As a Security Officer Unarmed - Construction Site in Duncan, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete daily activity reports and other required documentation, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related issues observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
