DALLAS, TX - USDirector of Financial Reporting – P&C InsuranceOPERATIONAL ACCOUNTINGSee notes below as to Hybrid/Remote/RelocationVery financially solid, greater Dallas area P&C insurance carrier, will hire a Director of Financial Reporting. This role requires insurance operational accounting – not just technical. We’re looking for someone who shows a history of meeting deadlines and whose work product is beyond accurate. CPA is not required.There is no opportunity to work remotely. This is a hybrid opportunity with in-office 2/3 days a week. There is no opportunity for relocation assistance; however, client will welcome candidates who are qualified and will make this relocation at their own expense.To qualify you MUST currently/ very recently –1. own the financial and regulatory reporting responsibilities – STAT/GAAP- in a P&C insurance carrier. Coming from an audit or consulting role will not qualify you for this opportunity.2. have ERP and system enhancement in your skill set3. function in a cross-functional relationship with IT, FP&A, audit, process controls, etc.4. own the cash/banking and balance sheet function.Additionally, you MUST bring at least 8 years of experience doing the financial reporting/regulatory reporting/general ledger/cash/system and work- flow oversight and show upward advancement while working in a P&C insurance carrier.
