Per Diem - Labor and Delivery Nurse

Position: RN - Labor and Delivery - Per Diem Location: Arlington Heights, IL Responsibilities: Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams. Coordinate patient care plans to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate interventions. Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing with all stakeholders. Individualize teaching for patients and families based on thorough assessments to meet their specific needs. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness. Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills: Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program. Active nursing license in Illinois. Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
