Overview

Seeking a hands-on Accountant to support month-end close, general ledger management, fixed assets, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment. This role will partner closely with operations, sales, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial records, strong internal controls, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger, trial balance, and month-end close process.

• Review and resolve accounting discrepancies across A/P, A/R, inventory, and fixed assets.

• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, amortization, and CIP tracking.

• Support inventory accounting, cost accounting, and variance analysis.

• Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.

• Support revenue recognition and billing accuracy.

• Assist with tax requests, audits, and financial reporting.

• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

• Support SAP enhancements and process improvement initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience.

• SAP experience

○ SAP ECC or S/4HANA required

• Strong experience with:

○ General Ledger & Trial Balance

○ Month-End Close

○ Fixed Assets & Depreciation - MOST IMPORTANT

○ Revenue Recognition

○ Inventory & Cost Accounting

○ Intercompany Accounting

○ Balance Sheet Reconciliations

• Experience supporting audits and tax-related requests.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Manufacturing or production accounting experience.

• SAP S/4HANA FI/CO experience.

• IFRS knowledge.

• Standard costing and inventory valuation experience.

• SOX/Internal Controls experience.

• Experience working with international entities.

• Process improvement and financial analytics experience.
