Render direct and indirect nursing care in accordance with your scope of licensure, the California Nurse Practice Act, and MMC policies and procedures Assess patient needs, establish and implement problem-oriented care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions Provide immediate direction to nursing care team members to ensure the appropriate delivery of services Adhere to the specific age populations and clinical competencies outlined in your unit’s Orientation and Initial Assessment checklists, which serve as an extension of this job description Job Requirements Registered Nurse: CA Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within six (6) months Preferred One (1) year previous pediatric or acute care experience Bilingual Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
