Senior Tax Manager

Tax AdvisorJob Responsibilities:Provide guidance on the tax implications of business investments and transactionsLead client engagements, and develop and implement tax-efficient structures for US investmentsDirect and assist in the compliance aspects of US tax for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, S-corporations and individualsEnsure tax filings comply with standards regarding property investments, income, and allocationsProvide technical tax expertise regarding tax-efficient structures and planning, review US tax estimates and projectionsResearch and manage complex tax matters, including planning and compliance, and respond to inquiries from regulatory authoritiesStaying current on recent tax developments within the US area, and leading technical tax training for staffWork closely with senior management in mentoring, supervising and evaluating staffExperience:7-10 years tax experience including tax planning, compliance, and preparation4+ years of management experienceBig 4 firm experience (preferred)Education:Bachelor degree in accounting (required)CPA license requiredThorough knowledge of the tax impact to individuals, their business and investmentsMasters of Tax degree (preferred)Skills:Communication (verbal and written); Interpersonal skillsStrong organizational, time management, multi-tasking and follow through skillsIntegrity, dependability, and trustworthiness and client-service skillsComputer proficiency with software programs such as RIA Checkpoint, Client full suite of tax software: UltraTax, Workpapers, Practice CS and File Cabinet, Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
