Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the psychosocial needs of clients, identifying treatment goals and strategies that support their unique circumstances. Provide crisis intervention services effectively, ensuring clients receive immediate and appropriate support when experiencing emotional distress. Work collaboratively with families and support systems to create tailored treatment and discharge plans, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with departmental policies, including progress notes and treatment plans, using electronic health record systems. Engage regularly with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss client progress and any arising concerns, ensuring an integrated approach to treatment outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily serve individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and various emotional and behavioral health challenges. You will utilize mindfulness strategies and solution-focused methodologies to engage clients and facilitate their healing journey, emphasizing their strengths and resilience. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling or a closely related field is required. Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential for this position. Minimum of three years of professional counseling experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic interventions. Proven ability in conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing comprehensive treatment plans. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records software. Preferred Experience Experience with mindfulness-based therapeutic techniques and solution-focused counseling is highly desirable. Previous work with a diverse client base in outpatient settings or private practice is a plus. Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and psychoeducation practices will be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits Vertex Behavioral Healthcare offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
