Schedule Tuesday‑Saturday 5:00 PM‑2:00 AM & Tuesday‑Saturday, 12:00 AM‑9:00 AM Benefits Competitive pay : $32‑38/hr, based on experience. Weekly paydays : Get paid every Friday. About the Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician Role As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician you’ll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road. You will provide preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6‑8 trucks and trailers, including emergency roadside service. Where You’ll Make an Impact Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow‑up repairs on Class 6‑8 trucks and trailers. Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency. Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance. Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems. Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments, to identify and fix issues fast. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform work. Road‑test vehicles to ensure every repair meets quality standards. Meet or beat industry‑standard repair times. Work with trusted vendors to source parts and keep operations moving. Take ownership of a company‑issued service truck, perform maintenance and pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, and ensure safety compliance. Jump in wherever needed – we have a team that supports each other. What Makes You a Great Fit At least 3 years of hands‑on diesel tech experience on Class 6‑8 trucks and trailers. DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise. Strong communication skills. Comfortable with mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools. Ready for the outdoors – rain or shine at customer yards. Independent, dependable, and self‑motivated. A positive attitude and safety‑first mindset. Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license. Bring your own hand tools and we’ll supply everything else. Work Environment Dynamic, high‑traffic areas – safety and precision are key. Exposure to dust, diesel fumes, and noise typical of a shop or yard. Ability to handle chemicals, oils, and grease safely. Ability to lift, move, and position heavy equipment or components. Active, bend, kneel, crawl, and crouch to access vehicle components. Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
