Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems in commercial and/or industrial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of fire alarm codes, safety procedures, and system components.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and test fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes and local regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment
• Conduct system inspections and ensure proper functionality
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients on job sites
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fire alarm installation experience OR NICET certification (Level I or higher)
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, wiring, and components
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Working knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable local codes
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET Certification
• Experience with major fire alarm systems (Notifier, Simplex, Siemens, etc.)
• OSHA certification is a plus
