Fire Alarm Installer

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems in commercial and/or industrial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of fire alarm codes, safety procedures, and system components.

Responsibilities

Install, program, and test fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes and local regulations
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment
Conduct system inspections and ensure proper functionality
Maintain accurate documentation and service records
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients on job sites
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies

Qualifications

2+ years of fire alarm installation experience OR NICET certification (Level I or higher)
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, wiring, and components
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
Working knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable local codes
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

NICET Certification
Experience with major fire alarm systems (Notifier, Simplex, Siemens, etc.)
OSHA certification is a plus
