Director, Diagnostic Imaging - Diagnostic Imaging - Salary (68511)

In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Director, Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for establishing and implementing strategies and tactics that will develop and continually enhance the business and market leadership of Memorial Health System. This position will lead business development processes to maximize the use of our resources, execute business strategies to increase volume, revenue, and overall market share, and build relationships throughout the region. Responsibilities Integrate departmental activities with hospital objectives. Coordinate with other departments to develop policies and procedures. Supervise departmental staffing, including hiring, transfer, promotion, and discipline. Develop and revise performance standards and conduct employee performance evaluations. Ensure quality improvement, control, orientation, and education of staff. Maintain space requirements and equipment and perform all other duties as necessary. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, or Sonography and a Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience in a managerial role. Current radiologic licensure from the State of Ohio Department of Health, the State of West Virginia, and ARRT Registered Technologist. BLS certification required and compliance with RQI required. Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. Ability to influence others, make decisions, and proactively resolve work‑related problems.
