Sr Product Manager - Control Platform Upgrades

Job Description Summary Senior Product Manager – Control Platform Upgrades is a key member of the Digital Platform product line team within GE Vernova’s Onshore Wind business. This role owns multi-generational strategy and product management for turbine controls hardware and firmware, spanning both the new product development roadmap and supporting the existing installed fleet. The ideal candidate bridges deep technical understanding with strong commercial acumen to drive competitive, reliable, and innovative embedded controls solutions. Responsibilities Own value proposition, commercialization and revenue/margin growth of Control Platform Features, Configuration, Licensing and Upgrades. Partner closely with Engineering, Services, and Commercial teams to synthesize customer needs, field performance data, and market trends into actionable product differentiation strategy. Collaborate with Customers, Commercial and Engineering to drive VOC, business case development, funding justification, and program oversight for Control Platform NPI's. Serve as a customer‑facing subject matter expert, supporting contract negotiations, technical reviews, and Inquiry‑To‑Order (ITO) activities. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments relevant to turbine controls and embedded systems. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 12 years of experience in Product Management, Renewables and/or Industrial Control Systems. 8 years of experience in Product Management, Renewables and/or Industrial Control Systems. Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
