Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary The Marketing Coordinator serves as the operational and communications hub of the Marketing Department, managing project workflows, campus coordination, Advancement communications, Bryan Life, and reporting. This position provides project direction, manages Advancement marketing communications through Charity Engine, and supports the Marketing team with creative production, photography, and other department needs. Reports to: Director of Marketing and Communications Education Required Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred. Marketing Operations & Project Management Manage the Marketing ticketing system, including project intake, priorities, schedules, approvals, and timelines. Coordinate projects from request through completion, establishing scope, deliverables, deadlines, and next steps. Maintain production calendars, project status, and department workflows. Track workload, turnaround times, deliverables, and project KPIs and recommend process improvements. Coordinate billing, purchasing, printing, mailing, vendors, and routine department operations. Campus Partnerships Serve as a primary liaison between Marketing and campus departments. Meet with key areas to identify needs, establish timelines, clarify deliverables, and communicate priorities to the Director of Marketing. Help departments plan campaigns and communications that align with institutional goals, brand standards, and Marketing capacity. Coordinate Marketing team members and resources needed to move projects forward. Advancement, Fundraising & Alumni Communications Manage Marketing projects for fundraising campaigns, donor communications, alumni engagement, and Advancement initiatives. Partner with Advancement leadership to define audiences, messaging, deliverables, and project timelines. Develop and coordinate content for appeals, direct mail, stewardship pieces, donor recognition, alumni communications, invitations, and giving campaigns. Build, schedule, and manage Advancement email campaigns through Charity Engine, including segmentation, testing, deployment, and performance tracking. Coordinate Marketing support for Advancement events, including print, digital, video, photography, signage, presentations, and promotional needs. Provide project and creative direction to ensure communications are effective, consistent, and aligned with the Bryan College brand. Assist the Brand Marketing Designer with Advancement and fundraising design projects as needed. Bryan Life Magazine Lead project management and editorial coordination for three Bryan Life issues annually. Manage editorial planning, story development, interviews, writing, content collection, approvals, and production schedules. Coordinate with the Brand Marketing Designer on art direction, layout, and design. Coordinate and assist with Bryan Life photography, including scheduling shoots and capturing images as needed. Collaborate with designers, photographers, writers, and contributors to develop compelling stories and visual content. Coordinate print production and vendors through final delivery. Creative, Photography & Marketing Support Develop creative briefs and provide project direction for Advancement, alumni, fundraising, and other assigned initiatives. Coordinate with the Brand Marketing Designer to ensure projects meet communication goals, timelines, and brand standards. Assist with design and production of print and digital materials as needed. Assist with photography for Marketing campaigns, events, and other institutional needs. Support photo and video shoots through planning, setup, production assistance, and on-site coordination. Coordinate designers, photographers, videographers, writers, and vendors on integrated projects and campaigns. Campaign, Reporting & Department Support Track email, campaign, and donor-engagement performance and recommend improvements to messaging and audience strategy.Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for Vice Presidents, Cabinet, and the Board highlighting KPIs and campaign results. Support campus-wide campaigns, executive communications, events, proofing, asset management, and special projects. Assist the Director of Marketing with department planning, coordination, and other priorities as needed. Continuous Improvement Stay current on higher education marketing, fundraising communications, alumni engagement, CRM marketing, publication management, and project management best practices. Recommend improvements that strengthen communication effectiveness, donor experience, project workflows, and department efficiency. Desired Qualities Experience in marketing, communications, project management, fundraising communications, or a related field. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills. Experience coordinating multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines. Experience with email marketing, CRM platforms, or marketing automation; Charity Engine experience is a plus. Working knowledge of print and digital production processes. Basic graphic design and Adobe Creative Cloud skills preferred. Photography experience and familiarity with photo/video production preferred. Ability to analyze campaign performance and prepare clear reports and presentations. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Commitment to the mission and values of Bryan College.
