Reporting to the President and CEO, this role oversees financial planning, risk management, compliance, reporting, and resource allocation. The CFO partners with the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership to drive financial strategy and operational excellence. - Lead all fiscal functions: accounting, budgeting, audits, tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Present financial reports to the Board and liaise with audit and the finance committee.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Oversee capital planning, investment strategies, and access to capital markets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Oversee internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Manage audits and ensure transparency in financial practices.
- Lead and mentor finance and accounting teams.
- Establish departmental goals, policies, and performance standards.
- Promote a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Partner with department heads to align financial goals with the organizational strategies.
- Facilitate the annual budget retreat and strategic planning sessions.
- Communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Evaluate and implement financial systems and technologies to improve efficiency.
- Support digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Serve as a financial spokesperson to external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the organization in community and industry events.
- Education: BA in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: 8–10 years in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit sectors.
- Skills: Strategic thinking, financial acumen, leadership, communication, confidentiality, and adaptability.
- Leadership Traits: Decisive, results-driven, collaborative, motivational, and effective communicator. Ability to work under pressure and respond to cultural differences.

- Must be able to provide or obtain an AZDPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
