View our 65 Years of Stories campaign to learn more about the impact Benchmark employees have made across the country.HomePointe HealthCare is currently hiring full-time or part-time Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and make a difference in the life of a child.Hours:LaPorte: During the school year: Monday-Friday, 2pm-5:30pm & during school breaks and summer: Monday-Friday, 8am-5:30pmValparaiso: Monday to Friday 5pm-7pm or Monday-Friday 8:15am-3pm or 5:15pmBenefits:PTO and Sick timeMedical, Dental, Vision401(k) + company matchFlexible/self-schedulingTuition ReimbursementFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Paid Trainingand more!General Responsibilities:Provides Home Health Aide services under the direction of the Clinical Care Manager or Registered NursePerforms services for clients as necessary to maintain their personal comfort and assist with activities of daily livingPerform household servicesReport clinical information on the client's statusMay perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing servicesCommunicates effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team through verbal reports, participation in staff meetings, and team conferences, as requested.Qualifications:Successful completion of a formal certification training program and a written skills test and competency Agency evaluation as required by state and federal requirements.Must not have had a continuous period of 24 consecutive months during which none of the certified services were furnished.Is currently listed in good standing on the state Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide registry.Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.Prefer a minimum of six (6) months' work experience in a supervised setting, preferably health care facility.CPR certified.Benchmark Human Services is an EOE/AAP Employer.
