Commercial Temporary Handyman / Maintenance Technician

Location: 4100 East Piedras Drive, San Antonio, TX 78228

Duration: Minimum 2-month assignment

Pay Rate: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule: 40 hours per week, daytime business hours

We are seeking a reliable Temporary Handyman / Maintenance Technician to support facility maintenance and general building operations. The ideal candidate will have experience performing a variety of maintenance tasks in a commercial environment and be comfortable handling physical work both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic commercial plumbing repairs and maintenance, including toilets, urinals, and sinks (license not required).
• Complete basic electrical maintenance and troubleshooting (license not required).
• Install and replace ceiling tiles.
• Clean and prepare office spaces as needed.
• Assist with general facility maintenance projects.
• Safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders and work comfortably on rooftops ranging from 1 to 5 stories in height.
• Perform additional duties within skill set as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with HVAC rooftop units (RTUs) is a plus, but not required.
• Previous handyman, building maintenance, or facilities maintenance experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
