Job Overview As a full time Night Shift Kitchen Cleaning Technician at our Capital Heights, MD location, you'll be at the heart of our operations. Please do not apply if you plan on working a day job in addition to this position. This job often requires overtime and mental focus which cannot be achieved with working a day shift in addition to a night shift. Responsibilities Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, covering hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans. Efficient setup and takedown of job sites and equipment. Performing tasks independently without direct supervision. Be professional in all activities (showing up on time, making customer driven decisions while on the job site, providing great feedback to team and management) Maintain and manage equipment, and report any discrepancies. Ability to work on minor repairs Opportunities to become a foreman and be the lead technician in a two man team and eventually lead multiple crews. Primary Responsibilities Ensure the safety and efficient installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment. Conduct service quality inspections Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness. Problem-solving on-site challenges and make recommendations for improvement. Ensure good customer service Work 40 - 50 hours a week (overtime regularly) - this is a full time position Physical Requirements Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments. Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet. Able to stand for 9-10 hours at a time. Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.
