About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the operating room License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Trauma, and ENT experience required. Pediatric experience preferred. Experience with Cerner charting system preferred. Description: Seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts on the weekend: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No call is required for this position. Candidate must have experience in various surgical specialties, including general, orthopedic, neurological, trauma, and ENT. Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and adherence to protocols is essential. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures, monitoring patient vitals, and ensuring a safe surgical environment. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with the surgical team. Candidate must be prepared to work some holidays as needed. An on-site drug screening will be conducted prior to assignment start. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with diverse patient populations.
