Manufacturing Automation Engineer II

Abbott Laboratories

Abbott Laboratories seeks a Manufacturing Automation Engineer II to design, implement, and optimize automated systems for biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing. In this role, you will develop and program PLCs and HMIs, integrate robotics and control systems, and support validation activities to meet GMP and FDA requirements. You will troubleshoot automation issues, analyze production data, and drive process improvements to enhance quality, throughput, and reliability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll support global health-impacting products while growing in a diverse, learning-focused, and mission-driven environment.
