Job Description
Title: Surgical Scrub Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule:
- Night shift: 5 days first week 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, weeks with holiday 4 shifts of 10 hours from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements:
- Experience in kidney transplant, neurosurgery, orthopedics, trauma, robotics, and spine surgery.
- BLS certification required.
- No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility).

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub nurse or circulating nurse.
- Ensure the surgical team has the necessary instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions during surgery and assist with post-operative care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday).
- All requests for time off must be approved at the time of submission.
- Travelers who have worked with the facility within the last 6 months must be separated for at least 6 months to be considered.
- Parking may incur costs up to $43/day for daytime shifts and $5/night for night shifts.
