Pediatric Intensivist

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking Pediatric Intensivists to join our team in Pensacola, Florida. Successful candidates will provide comprehensive care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a multidisciplinary team environment that includes pediatric physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, pharmacists and nutritionists. Key responsibilities:Provide direct care for critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of life-threatening conditionsPerform invasive procedures such as central line placement, intubation, chest tube insertion, and other critical care interventionsCollaborate with specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plansParticipate in family-centered care, offering clear communication and emotional support to patients and familiesComply with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety practicesWhat We Offer:No state income tax in Florida Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits: health, life, dental, vision Mortgage assistance, relocation packages and 403B with employer match, 457 retirement savings plans Licensure, CME and dues allowance Not-for-profit status; eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Qualifications:MD or DOBoard eligible/certified in area of specialty Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEAExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamIf you’re looking for a position that will allow you to enjoy a work-life balance, have an opportunity for professional growth, and focus on pediatric care, this is the opportunity for you.#LI-RP1
