This role offers the opportunity to work on late-model Ford vehicles using OEM tools and equipment. We offer paid out-of-state training, relocation support, and a long-term path for career advancement.Job Type & ScheduleJob Type: Full-time Compensation: $35 to $45 per flat-rate hour, based on skills and certifications Work Hours:Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PMOne Saturday shift per monthWork RequirementsLocation Requirement: On-site in Bloomington, INTravel Requirement: Must be willing to attend 1-week Ford-sponsored training programs out of stateRelocation SupportUp to $1,500 for first month's rentAdditional $3,000 toward moving expensesKey ResponsibilitiesConduct advanced transmission diagnostics and driveline evaluationsComplete repairs and services accurately per manufacturer guidelinesUtilize factory diagnostic tools for system testing and troubleshootingPerform road tests to verify repair quality and ensure safetyCollaborate with service advisors for estimates and job updatesMaintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all safety standardsStay up to date on Ford transmission systems, recalls, and TSBsQualificationsMinimum 2 years' experience in transmission or powertrain serviceFord Transmission Certification is highly preferredDealership background, especially Ford/Lincoln, is a strong plusWorking knowledge of manufacturer diagnostic softwareSkilled in both mechanical and electrical diagnosisMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordMust pass a pre-employment drug screenStrong communication skills and willingness to train regularlyWhy Work with UsWhen you join Community Ford Lincoln of Bloomington, you're not just getting a job—you're stepping into a dealership that values technician growth, respects your time, and equips you for success.
