About This Role
We are seeking a full-time teacher who is a team player with strong communication skills, passionate about children, and dedicated to instilling a love for learning. Join our exceptional team at Golden Path Academy, where you will have the opportunity to develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of our students in accordance with our curriculum and procedures.
What You'll DoJoin our amazing team and provide developmental care and supervision to children at the center. As a Golden Path Academy Lead Teacher, you will implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that foster growth and development. You will also establish and maintain positive relationships with children, co-teachers, and parents, modeling excellent childcare practices.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of your students
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Track individual child development and complete bi-annual progress reports
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication
- Utilize a school-provided application to stay connected with parents throughout the day
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have fulfilled a high school program or the equivalent
- Must meet one of the following requirements:
- Have a bachelor's degree in a child-related field
- Have 3 months of program experience and an early childhood certificate or CDA.
- Have 6 months of supervised program experience and 24 hours of approved training.
- Have 48 semester hours of college credit, with at least 12 hours in child-related subjects, and one year of program experience.
