Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' unique mental health needs, utilizing various standardized assessment tools as necessary.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Techniques may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

• Provide therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring that a comprehensive approach is taken to support clients effectively.

• Offer crisis intervention as needed, employing your expertise and sensitivity to handle emergency situations with compassion.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Valor Center, you will work with a diverse array of clients, spanning various ages, socioeconomic backgrounds, and cultural contexts. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active mental health license, such as LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively establish therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Proven ability to navigate culturally diverse environments and provide sensitive, effective care.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the capability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical guidelines.
