How You'll Contribute A Medical Assistant who excels in this role performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office: Under the supervision of physicians or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas. Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration. Other tasks as requested/assigned. What We're Looking For Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Education: Required: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred Licenses: Required: CCMA, CMA or RMA Certifications via the AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of hire Schedule: 5x8, Day shift, rotating weekends Why join us People are our passion and purpose.
