We would love for you to become a member of our team! ### **About the Role**As a **Physician Assistant (PA)- Float**, you will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. You’ll treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections. You’ll work independently or alongside a physician, using your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, while recognizing when to escalate care to emergency services.### **Essential Responsibilities*** Conduct physical exams and review patient medical histories* Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging* Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications* Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and casting* Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR* Educate and counsel patients on care and prevention* Administer vaccinations and refer patients to specialists as needed* Work scheduled shifts of hours as assigned* Perform other duties as assigned by leadership ### **Minimum Qualifications*** Minimum **1 year of full-time experience** as a licensed NP or PA in an **Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine** setting (required)* Experience treating **both pediatric and adult** patient populations (required)* Comfortable performing **minor procedures** including suturing, casting, and splinting (required)* Proficient in **preliminary reads** of EKGs and X-rays (required) **Physician Assistants:*** Master’s degree from an accredited PA program (required)* **NCCPA Certification** (required) ### **Required Skills & Abilities*** Proficiency in urgent care procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting)* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Attentive listening and patient engagement ### **Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems* Multilingual communication skills* Familiarity with telemedicine platforms* Basic understanding of medical billing and coding **Note:** *This job description is not inclusive of all duties and responsibilities.* #J-18808-Ljbffr
