Job Opportunity – PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM). Call included every third to fourth weekend.

Highlights:

• Specialized cardiovascular and vascular surgery unit focusing on complex cardiac and vascular procedures
• 1:1 patient ratio ensuring high-quality, individualized care
• Epic charting system for streamlined documentation
• Comprehensive case mix including CABG, TAVR, EVAR, AAA repair, fem-pop/fem-tib-peroneal bypass, angiogram, pulmonary decortication, and ablation procedures
• 40-hour orientation program with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Opportunity to work with adult cardiac and vascular surgery patients in a Level I trauma environment

Requirements:

• Current RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Pre/Post operative nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Level I trauma center experience preferred
• PACU and ambulatory/outpatient experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership role)
