Position Details: \n

• $1,000 Sign on Bonus paid after 90 days of Employment
\n
• 5-day work schedule (will be discussed during the interview)\n

  • Sunday - Thursday starting at 4pm

  • Pay $28.00 per hour

Position Purpose: \n
\n
\nWe value the safety of our associates! The Maintenance Mechanic keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings and ensuring it meets industry standards and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks.\n
\n
Primary Responsibilities: \n

\n
• The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities.
\n
• Performs general electrical and/or repairs of and various equipment on company premises.
\n
• Conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
\n
• Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work.
\n
• Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
\n
• Performs daily safety checks.
\n
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
\n
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
\n
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
\n
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to work multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers and co-workers.
\n
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
\n
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
\n
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
\n
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
\n

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience\n
\n
\n• 1+ year maintenance, mechanic repair and/or related area\n
\n
\n• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 30 lbs. regularly, up to 65 lbs. frequently, and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.\n
\n
\n• Ability to work in a warehouse environment which will expose the incumbent to a variety of noise and potential extremes in temperature.\n
