Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. This position is open to both experienced hygienists and new graduates who are eager to learn and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

As we continue to increase our new patient flow, this role is key to supporting practice growth while delivering excellent patient care and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and SRPs
• Complete patient assessments, including medical history review, periodontal charting, and oral cancer screenings
• Take and evaluate digital radiographs (Dexis or similar)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment recommendations, and overall health
• Partner with doctors and team members to maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced setting
• Accurately document clinical findings and treatment in Dentrix
• Support patient retention and practice growth through excellent care and communication
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused office culture

Qualifications

• Active or pending Dental Hygienist license (new grads encouraged to apply!)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
• Strong clinical and patient care skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Experience with Dentrix, Dexis, and iTero preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
