A dynamic opportunity awaits a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide vital one-on-one care for an elementary-aged student with complex medical needs. This contract position supports an engaging educational environment while ensuring the student’s health and safety throughout the school day and transit. The role will begin part-time and gradually expand to full-time to match the student’s evolving schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active New Hampshire RN license (LPN credentials are not accepted)
• Experience or competency in school nursing, pediatric care, or similar settings
• Confident in managing pediatric health needs: seizure monitoring, tube feedings, personal care, and mobility assistance
• Ability and flexibility to accompany the student during bus transportation to and from school
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with school staff and family
• Capacity to adapt to variable daily hours and a growing schedule as the student’s attendance increases

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care for a single elementary student during school hours and on bus rides
• Monitor and respond promptly to medical emergencies such as seizures
• Administer tube feedings and assist with other medical equipment as prescribed
• Deliver personal care support, ensuring the student’s comfort and dignity
• Facilitate safe mobility and navigating the school environment
• Maintain thorough health documentation and coordinate with parents, educators, and other specialists

This assignment runs from September 2026 to June 2027, beginning with afternoon hours (12:00 p.m. – 3:05 p.m. plus transportation) and transitioning to full days as the student’s participation grows.
