Affordable Conveyor Service LLC is a growing company specializing in conveyor system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for commercial and industrial customers throughout Connecticut and surrounding states. Position Summary

We are seeking a  DEPENDABLE , motivated and mechanically inclined  Conveyor Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with conveyor industrial equipment and be comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in the field.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain conveyor system related equipment.
• diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• replace Motors, reducers, bearings, rollers, belts, chains, pulleys and other conveyor components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings when applicable.
• Complete service reports accurately and communicate professionally
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Travel to customer locations throughout Connecticut and occasional out-of-state job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on conveyors, industrial machinery, or related mechanical equipment.
• R-8 Elevator Limited Conveyor Journeyperson License preferred but not required.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is highly desirable.
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
• Arc welding experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must pass a background check with no felony convictions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Personal hand tools are required.
• Forklift and Scissor Lift certifications are preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Willingness to work overtime, after-hours, weekends, and occasional out-of-state assignments as needed.
• On Call.
• Bilingual Preferred.

• $23.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience
