Entry-Level Event Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Entry-Level Event Marketing Assistant to join our growing marketing and advertising team. Our comprehensive training program provides hands-on experience in marketing strategy, direct advertising, promotional campaigns, visual merchandising, consumer market research, and event marketing . Team members who successfully complete the training program will have the opportunity to advance into a Marketing Team Lead role.

About the Role

As an Entry-Level Event Marketing Assistant, you will support the execution and growth of assigned marketing campaigns while helping increase brand awareness, customer engagement, sales, and customer retention .

You will represent brands at local events, retail promotions, and experiential marketing campaigns while developing valuable skills in sales, leadership, communication, customer service, and team management .

This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in building a long-term career in marketing and advertising .

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of event marketing and promotional campaigns
• Assist with customer acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives
• Represent brands professionally at local events and retail promotional locations
• Interact directly with customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Help drive sales through retail marketing and promotional campaigns
• Increase brand recognition through experiential marketing and community events
• Assist with campaign growth, performance, and day-to-day execution
• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Develop strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Work independently on assigned projects as well as collaboratively with the marketing team
• Resolve customer concerns and make professional, informed decisions
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to work full-time hours , including some weekends for special events
• Bachelor's or associate degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with customers and representing brands in a professional manner
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute effectively to a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Self-motivated, creative, organized, and results-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, energetic environment
• Willingness to travel approximately 1–2 weeks per year for additional training and professional development
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, customer service, events, or retail is a plus, but paid training is provided
