Job Opportunity

Position Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join our Float Pool. This contract offers an exciting opportunity to work in various locations and within different settings, including Adult and Pediatric Emergency Rooms, Ambulance Triage, ED Holding, and Lobby Triage.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Orientation: 2 days (1 Virtual, 1 Unit)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks with extensions available

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience
• Active state RN license in Washington
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• EPIC charting experience
• Two references that cover 1 year of employment in specialty within the last 3 years (one must be a supervisor)
• Availability to float among all 7 campuses: Ballard, Cherry Hill, Edmonds, First Hill, Issaquah, Mill Creek, and Redmond

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification

Important Notes

• Returning employees must have a 6-month separation before applying for a per diem position.
• Clinicians who are currently employed or have accepted a travel position at another facility within the same health system are not eligible to apply.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons approved by the facility.

Patient Care Details

• Unit: Adult/Pediatric Emergency Room and Triage Areas
• Patient Age Groups: Across all age groups present in emergency settings

Orientation Information

• Day 1: Virtual modules (approximately 22 total hours) to be completed before in-unit orientation
• Day 2: In-unit orientation scheduled based on availability
