Qingdao, China | Start Date: August 2026Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and versatile Native English-speaking teacher to join a well-established international school in Qingdao. The successful candidate will teach English (Middle & High School, including AP-level courses) as well as Foundational Art courses, contributing to a creative and academically rigorous learning environment. Key Responsibilities
Teach Middle & High School English, including literature, writing, and communication skills
Deliver AP-level English courses aligned with US curriculum standards
Teach Basic / Foundational Art classes, encouraging creativity and visual expression
Design engaging, student-centered lesson plans aligned with American curriculum standards
Assess student progress and provide structured academic feedback
Support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide academic initiatives
Participate in curriculum development, school events, and extracurricular activities
Requirements
Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or above in English, Education, Fine Arts, or related fields
Teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS / state license / equivalent preferred)
Experience teaching US curriculum, AP English, or international school programs
Ability to teach both English and Art at secondary level
At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
