Student Radiology Tech PRN

Student Radiology Technician (PRN) Angel Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a second‑year radiology student to support our Radiology team. Responsibilities Support professional staff in the Radiology Department, including technologists, RNs, and physicians, to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Assist with non‑clinical aspects of patient care—helping patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and informed during their procedure. Learn directly from experienced technologists, gaining valuable exposure to diagnostic imaging workflows. Perform required regulatory and documentation tasks under supervision. Work under the guidance of a registered technologist. Prepare patients for imaging by obtaining histories, verifying identities, and assisting with positioning while communicating clearly and compassionately. Safely transport patients between areas, supporting their comfort and emotional needs during procedures. Set up imaging rooms, manage turnover, and organize supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Serve as a vital connection between patients, technologists, and the care team by communicating needs and concerns promptly. Qualifications Must be entering the second year of a JRCERT‑accredited School of Radiography. Must hold BLS certification. Must be in the second year of Radiography School.
