Johnson Truck Center, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a B level Diesel Mechanics / Technicians at our location in Manassas, Virginia. This individual must have previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Autocar, and Battle Motors to name a few. Key Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
• Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness
• Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes

Physical Requirements

Technician roles are physically demanding and require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more) may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the Technician will frequently use hands to manipulate and grasp objects; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist to perform repairs and inspections. Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present. A technician may work in areas with temperature and/or humidity extremes.
