In this role, you will:

Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans within the multidisciplinary team.
Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families about respiratory disease processes and interventions.
Accept reassignment to other units as necessary to meet patient care needs.
Share clinical knowledge with staff and students, serving as a role model for clinical practice.
Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care.
Deliver respiratory care as ordered by physicians, maintaining communication with medical and nursing staff.

Requirements:

Associate's degree required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
Illinois License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Need 1 year experience in setting
