Medical Assistant
University of Vermont Medical Center
Medical Assistant
Minimum 2 years of relevant Medical Assistant experience
Current BLS certification
Experience working in a similar-sized teaching hospital/facility
EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
Strong IV-starting skills required for applicable imaging modalities
Experience supporting radiology or CT operations preferred
Ability to assist with patient transport to and from examination rooms
Strong clerical and organizational skills, including scheduling and exam processing
Ability to manage workflow, answer phones, and maintain department supplies
Experience using hospital/department computer systems
Ability to assist with regulatory and hospital audit preparation
Strong communication and teamwork skills when working with technologists, nurses, radiologists, and other staff
Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM schedule; every weekend required
Reliable transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transportation access
13-week contract
