Overview Provides specialized professional support services to administrators and/or project managers in the administration of research and/or administrative projects. Assists in the administration and coordination of a variety of research and/or administrative projects including planning, budgeting, organizing, research and delivery of services. Coordinates and supervises work assignments of other administrative personnel as assigned. Collaborates with project stakeholders from across various departments to achieve project goals. Responsibilities Quality of Work: Attentive to detail and accuracy, committed to excellence, looking for continuous improvement, monitoring quality levels, finding root causes of quality problems, owning/acting on them. Job Knowledge: Understands duties and responsibilities, has necessary job knowledge and technical skills, understands company mission/values, keeps job knowledge current, is in command of critical issues. Qualifications High School or equivalent. 2 years experience in Patient Financial Services/Revenue Cycle, or Managed Care Contracting in an acute care hospital. Strong analytical and communication skills. Public speaking/presentation skills. Organization/time management skills. Well organized, self‑motivated, detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of patient accounting key principles. Strong analytical skills with the ability to multitask. Intermediate knowledge of managed care and other healthcare contract language. Intermediate understanding of ICD‑10, HCPCS/CPT coding, medical terminology and hospital bill form requirements (UB‑04). Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, V‑lookup functions, and query writing. Preferred Qualifications None specified. Required Licenses / Certifications Fire Life Safety Training (LA City). If no card upon hire, must be obtained within 30 days and maintained by renewal before expiration date (required for LA City only).
