Marketing & Business Development Specialist

Location: Naugatuck, CT (Onsite)
Base Compensation: Up to $90,000

Our client is seeking a creative, driven, and hands-on Marketing & Business Development Specialist to lead and execute the company's marketing strategy while helping strengthen its brand presence and support business development initiatives.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, bringing fresh ideas to the table, and taking ownership of projects from concept through execution. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing strategy and rolling up their sleeves to make it happen.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the company's website, including SEO optimization and user experience enhancements.
• Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Create and manage engaging content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms to increase brand awareness and market visibility.
• Develop marketing materials including brochures, project profiles, case studies, proposals, presentations, and other branded collateral.
• Plan, create, and coordinate digital advertising campaigns, including LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads.
• Coordinate professional photography, videography, and other creative assets with outside vendors when appropriate.
• Produce compelling visual and written content that showcases projects, capabilities, and company expertise.
• Support business development initiatives by helping identify opportunities to increase market exposure and generate new business.
• Assist with planning and coordinating trade shows, networking events, and other marketing initiatives.
• Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements based on analytics and campaign results.
• Stay current on marketing trends, digital technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of marketing experience with a strong emphasis on digital marketing.
• Experience managing websites and working knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn, Google Ads, social media marketing, and content creation.
• Strong graphic design and visual marketing instincts with the ability to create professional marketing materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Experience within construction, engineering, architecture, design-build, or professional services is a plus, but not required.
