Pediatric Hematopathologist Opportunity, Fort Worth, Texas

Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Pathology Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Cook Children’s, in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a full‑time hematopathologist to support the hematology, hematology‑oncology, and flow cytometry sections of the laboratory. Duties include directing the hematology/hematopathology program. Willingness to assist with pediatric surgical pathology duties and shared call is desirable. Additional opportunities in transfusion medicine and coagulation are available for those interested. Responsibilities Direct the hematology/hematopathology program. Assist with pediatric surgical pathology duties and shared call. Explore opportunities in transfusion medicine and coagulation. Qualifications MD or DO degree (or equivalent). Board certified or board eligible in anatomic and/or clinical pathology and hematopathology. Board certification in pediatric pathology or experience in pediatric hematopathology is preferred.
