Valuing innovation, collaboration, and prudent stewardship, ESAC creates healthy and sustainable solutions including: Senior Home Repair and Falls Prevention Foreclosure Prevention High School Equivalency Housing Search Assistance and Stabilization Support Young Adult Housing Stabilization and Homelessness Prevention POSITION OVERVIEW ESAC Boston is looking for an Executive Director who will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for our staff, programs, partnerships, and impact. The ED will partner with the Board of Directors to develop long-term goals and to ensure program success and financial stability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership and Management Lead the development of a new five-year strategic plan for ESAC that builds on current strengths, addresses emerging needs, and ensures long-term sustainability. Drive consistent, high-quality program outcomes through rigorous program evaluation and continuous improvement. Fundraising and Communications Develop and implement a sustainable fundraising plan, including foundation grants and individual donor acquisition, to ensure sufficient funding for the organization's programmatic and operational expenses. Deepen and refine ESAC's approach to strategic communications and public relations, focusing on developing a meaningful web presence and robust newsletter and social media engagement. Financial Management and Accountability Ensure adherence to all proper accounting and record-keeping procedures Develop an annual budget and provide monthly financial statements, along with a report on the organization's overall financial standing, to the Board. QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in a nonprofit or social impact organization Unwavering commitment to program quality and data-driven program evaluation Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff and manage a budget in service of achieving strategic objectives Demonstrated success in fundraising and the ability and motivation to engage a wide range of stakeholders in support of organizational goals Past success working with a Board of Directors or community equivalent and an interest in recruiting / cultivating new Board members COMPENSATION PACKAGE The starting salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience.
