Corporate Paralegal

Corporate ParalegalD.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., was founded in 1978 and is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. It is engaged in the construction and sale of high quality homes designed principally for the entry-level and first time move-up markets. The Company also provides mortgage financing and title services for homebuyers through its mortgage and title subsidiaries. D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Corporate Paralegal. The right candidate will work as part of a team to provide legal and administrative support to the Corporate Legal team. This is a professional position that interacts with senior attorneys and senior management. The right candidate will have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented. We offer hands-on training for internal software applications, but we expect strong working knowledge of Office Word Suite. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Entity Formation, Dissolutions, Compliance, Annual Reports and State Filings Draft Board and Officer Resolutions Maintain Electronic Records Organize and Maintain Corporate Minute Books in Digital Format Assist with SEC and NYSE Filings Assist with Proxy Statements and Annual Stockholder Meetings Administrative and Clerical Support to Corporate Legal Team Other Corporate Duties as AssignedEducation and/or Experience Four to ten years of paralegal or related administration experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Paralegal certificate not required but is a plus. Candidate must be self-motivated and able to prioritize, multi-task and follow projects through until complete with little supervision.
