This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, maintaining patient records, and supporting front desk operations.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly mannerAnswer incoming calls, direct calls, and take messagesSchedule medical, behavioral health, and dental appointmentsVerify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and co-paysMaintain accurate patient information in electronic health record (EHR) systems, including EPICCollect co-pays, balances, and other patient paymentsScan and upload documents into patient recordsPerform appointment reminder callsAssist uninsured patients with Medicaid and financial assistance applicationsCoordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staffMaintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentialitySupport overall clinic operations and patient flowQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious healthcare, medical office, or clinical experience preferredExperience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), preferably EPICInsurance verification and benefits interpretation experience preferredKnowledge of co-pays, coverage verification, and health plans preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsDetail-oriented and dependableAbility to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environmentApply today to join a healthcare organization dedicated to providing quality patient care and exceptional service.
