Job Description
We are seeking a reliable CDL Driver to join our team, specializing in long-haul, over-the-road (OTR) routes. The ideal candidate will have strong route navigation skills and a solid commitment to DOT compliance, maintaining vehicle safety and timely deliveries. This role requires both independent work and teamwork to ensure efficient and effective transport services on a weekly travel schedule.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles on long-haul routes with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Navigate routes to meet delivery schedules on a weekly basis
- Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and safety standards
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and delivery expectations
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers during deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively on the road
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Experience with commercial vehicle operation and route navigation
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance checks
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Proven customer service ability
