As a Foreman, you will lead, supervise, and train waterproofing crews, ensuring the successful installation and quality control of commercial waterproofing systems. This role is crucial in coordinating project workflow and maintaining safety standards on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and direct waterproofing crews, assigning daily tasks and monitoring productivity.
• Ensure proper installation of sealants, membranes, air barriers, coatings, and expansion joint systems.
• Inspect work for adhesion, coverage, thickness, tooling, and compliance with specifications and ASTM standards.
• Communicate with site superintendents, project managers, and other trades to maintain workflow and sequencing.
• Enforce OSHA rules, conduct toolbox talks, maintain safety documentation, and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Track inventory, order materials, manage equipment, and ensure proper storage and handling.

Essential Skills

• 3-5+ years experience in commercial waterproofing, caulking, or building-envelope systems.
• Proven experience supervising crews on active job sites.
• Familiarity with sealants, membranes, primers, air barriers, firestop, and expansion joint systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, details, and manufacturer installation specifications.
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards, fall protection, and job-site safety protocols.
• Ability to coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, and internal teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Aerial Lift Certification for boom and scissor lift operation.
• Manufacturer Training from SWR Institute, Tremco, Sika, Carlisle, or similar.
• Firestop Certification from Hilti, STI, or equivalent.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred for crew leadership.

Work Environment

Work involves the use of aerial lifts and requires certification for operation. The role may include manufacturer training and certifications. A bilingual (English/Spanish) environment is preferred for effective crew leadership.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Natick, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.
