This role is ideal for someone who thrives on directing high-quality creative output—rather than managing people—and is passionate about delivering visually compelling, conversion-driven digital experiences.This is a high-impact opportunity with strong visibility and a clear path to grow into a more senior leadership role as the function scales.What You'll DoCreative Direction & ExecutionLead and direct the development of high-quality, on-brand creative assets across multiple channelsOwn the visual direction for email marketing (60% of output), including promotional and transactional campaigns for diverse audiencesOversee and contribute to design for: paid social (including carousel ads), Google Ads / display, web and landing pages, digital campaigns focused on performance and conversionEnsure all creative is optimized for engagement, performance, and brand consistencyCross-Channel Campaign SupportPartner with marketing and brand teams to bring campaigns to life across digital demand and brand initiativesSupport occasional "outlier" projects such as digital menus, digital signage, and special creative activationsCreative Leadership (Work, Not People)Act as a leader of creative work, setting standards and guiding execution across a team of 6 designersProvide clear art direction, feedback, and inspiration—without direct people management responsibilitiesUphold design best practices and continuously elevate the quality of output across all touchpointsCollaboration & ExecutionWork closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely delivery of creative assetsCollaborate with contractors and outsourced talent to scale output when neededTranslate marketing objectives into compelling and effective visual storytellingApex Benefits OverviewApex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
