About Us
\nWe are an established general contractor delivering complex commercial and hospitality construction projects across the United States.
\n \nWe are currently expanding our team in North Carolina and are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take the lead on a major hotel conversion project in Charlotte.
\n \nThe Project
\nThe project involves the conversion of an existing office building into a new hotel .
\n- \n
- Approximately $30M project \n
- Charlotte, NC \n
- Significant gut renovation \n
- Heavy mechanical / MEP scope \n
- PM based in Charlotte \n
- On-site 4–5 days per week \n
This is a hands-on project management role where you will have significant responsibility for the overall delivery of the project.
\n \nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Manage the project from preconstruction through completion \n
- Manage project budget, schedule and overall performance \n
- Lead subcontractor and vendor coordination \n
- Manage contracts, procurement, RFIs and change orders \n
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other building systems \n
- Work closely with owners, architects, engineers and consultants \n
- Lead project meetings and provide regular project updates \n
- Identify and resolve project issues \n
- Monitor quality, safety and schedule \n
- Manage project closeout and turnover \n
- Work closely with the Superintendent and project team \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience \n
- Strong Project Management experience \n
- Experience managing large-scale commercial renovations or gut renovations \n
- Experience with projects around $20M–$30M+ \n
- Strong understanding of construction budgets, schedules and contracts \n
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades \n
- Strong MEP / mechanical coordination experience \n
- Hospitality or hotel construction experience is highly preferred \n
- Strong communication and client management skills \n
- Comfortable working on-site in Charlotte 4–5 days per week \n
- Stable employment history \n
- Ability to take ownership of a major project and lead it through completion \n
