Component CNC Operator - Montgomery, IL

2ND SHIFT 3:30PM - 12AM MONDAY-FRIDAY

$21.50-$23/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Component CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Montgomery, IL. The role involves operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision components essential for bearing manufacturing. Ideal candidates will possess manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components according to specifications.
• Load and unload materials and parts from machines.
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production standards.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in CNC, machining, manufacturing, or production.
• Ability to read blueprints and use inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with hand tools and lathe operations.

Work Environment

The position operates on the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The work environment is clean and safety-focused, emphasizing the use of advanced technologies and equipment to ensure a productive setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00/hr.
