Building Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors. Responsibilities: • Address repair needs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and landscaping. • Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and with excellent service. • Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to support efficient operations. • Be available for emergency repairs and on-call support during evenings or weekends as needed. • Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas, keeping detailed records. Qualifications: • Proficiency with tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook). • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. • High school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years of related experience or equivalent training. Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
