Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical TherapistWe are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in providing quality rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will work primarily in an outpatient setting, delivering comprehensive care to patients with a variety of needs.Responsibilities:Evaluate and assess patient needs in areas such as orthopedics, neurology, gait/balance, and pain management.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pre and post-operative surgical patients.Utilize therapeutic techniques including soft tissue mobilization, instrument-guided soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercise, and therapeutic activities.Provide gait training and neuro re-education to optimize patient outcomes.Apply manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery and improve mobility.Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of experience in physical therapy.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Local candidates are encouraged to apply; pending state licenses may also be accepted.Work Schedule:This position is for a day shift, working 5 days a week from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility in working 2 out of 3 major holidays is expected.Facility Information:The facility is a Short-Term Acute Care facility with a diverse patient population, equipped with modern charting systems (Cerner) and providing ample resources for staff.
